Welcome in, Grayson! Grayson is 1 of the 7 dogs we recently rescued from a bad breeding operation in Georgia. Unfortunately there were no records kept on the dogs, but we were told he is about 5 years old.
Sweet Grayson underwent his full intake vetting and is scheduled to undergo his neuter and dental on Monday. We will be sure to bring you his full medical report soon 💕 Grayson is being foster in St. Simons Island, Georgia 💜

UPDATE FEBRUARY 7, 2023: Grayson is a handsome 5 year old, 14 pound boy who recently came into our care and is being fostered in St. Simons Island, Georgia. Like the others, Grayson’s intake vetting revealed several medical issues that we are currently addressing. Grayson arrived riddled with worms (whipworms, hookworms, and roundworms), with ear infections, advanced dental disease, and a prolapsed tear gland (cherry eye) which has resulted in decreased tear production.
Last week he underwent his neuter surgery and much needed dental where he lost 10 bad teeth that he doesn’t miss a bit. His prolapsed tear gland has been manually repositioned back in place and he is on eye medications to help reduce inflammation and stimulate tear production. Grayson will return to the vet next week to ensure he’s all healed up from the procedures and ensure that his infections and worm infestation have all been effectively treated and cleared. Grayson has normal bloodwork and urinalysis, a negative heartworm and tick borne illness test, and clear knees, hips, and heart.
Grayson has recovered well from his procedures and is well on the right track to becoming his best self 💜
