We received this photo of a Cavalier who had been brought into a veterinary clinic to be abandoned. Thankfully we were contacted and were able to spring her out and welcome her into our care. We understand that she was brought in by a bad breeder and her extremely stained fur paints a picture of neglect and filthy living conditions. We’ve named her Hollie and believe she is a young adult, about age 3. Hollie had her intake vetting this afternoon and we will share her medical update when we have all her lab results in. In the meantime, she seems very pleased with her new living arrangements in her foster home in Canton, Georgia 🏡  Welcome in, Hollie! 💜

UPDATE DECEMBER 19, 2025: HOLLIE MEETS FOSTER FAMILY 🤝🏼💕
We recently introduced you to precious Hollie who was abandoned by a bad breeder and then welcomed into our care. She was filthy and sadly all of her fur staining paints a picture of what kind of life she has lived. 
She has now undergone her full intake vetting. Because we don’t have any records or information on Hollie (nor was she microchipped), we do not know her exact age or date of birth but believe she is around 3 years old. We sent off titer tests for distemper and parvo to determine if she already has protection and immunity. We are awaiting those results. Thankfully her heartworm and tick borne illness was negative but her fecal test was positive for hookworms which she is now being treated for. Her bloodwork was normal and we are awaiting her urinalysis results. 
Physical exam revealed clear knees, hips, and heart while her tear test was just slightly low likely due to inflammation from being in a filthy environment. She is receiving an anti inflammatory ointment and eye lubrication gel for her comfort. We are also treating her for ear infections. She needs a spay with hernia repair, dental cleaning, and microchip which she is scheduled to undergo in a couple weeks. We will also be rechecking her eyes, ears, and fecal test, and she will recieve her Rabies vaccine. 
In the meantime, Hollie is settling beautifully into her foster home in Canton, Georgia where she’s enjoying being a pampered little princess 👑💜

UPDATE JANUARY 3. 2026 : Little Hollie in Canton, Georgia is resting up after a BIG day today. 3 year old 13 pound Hollie underwent her spay surgery and dental cleaning where she lost just 2 bad teeth that she won’t miss a bit. Her ear cytology was clear after treating her for ear infections and we are awaiting the results of her recheck fecal test after treating her for intestinal parasites. She was also microchipped. She is now resting and recovering comfortably in her foster home ❤️‍🩹 and will return to the vet in 2 weeks to ensure she’s all healed up 💕
