Welcome in, adorable Kolby 💙Kolby is one of the nine Cavaliers we were able to rescue off the auction block, pulling him out of the puppy mill industry, and intercepting the plans for him to be sold into a life used as breeding stock. Instead, his future will be that of a beloved, cherished companion 🐾 

This darling tricolor boy is just 3 months old (DOB 1/22/26) and weighs 6.3 pounds. He has completed his full intake vetting and, at this time, is congenitally sound with clear eyes, knees, hips, and heart. Like most mill dogs, Kolby didn’t come to us without needs, even at his young age. We are currently treating him for ear infections and giardia—a nasty little parasite commonly found in unsanitary environments like puppy mills. Because he was with other dogs battling upper respiratory infections, we are also keeping a close watch on this little guy to ensure he stays healthy.

Kolby is being fostered in Harvest, Alabama, where he will learn all about this new world around him with the help of his foster family and Cavalier foster sister who is a puppy mill survivor herself. Simple things - like eating and drinking from bowls, understanding how a door opens, being on a daily routine - are all brand new experiences for a puppy who has only ever known life inside a mill.
