Welcome in, Remy! 🐾 1 year old Remy’s family made the difficult decision to release her into our care due to the home environment not being conducive for her needs and safety. Remy (DOB 9/24/2021) underwent her full intake vetting where she received a great report! We found Remy to be a healthy girl with clear eyes, knees, hips, and heart. Additionally, all of her labwork including her fecal test, heartworm and tick borne illness test, urinalysis, and bloodwork was normal and negative. 11.8 pound Remy is scheduled to undergo her spay surgery next week.  In the meantime she’s making herself right at home in her foster home  in Birmingham, Alabama🏡💜

UPDATE MAY 9, 2023: Last week, sweet and silly 1 year old Remy (DOB 9/24/2021) in Birmingham, Alabama, underwent her spay surgery and hernia repair, and seems to be doing a good job of keeping her incisions dry 😂 Remy will return to the vet soon for her 2 week post op recheck to ensure she’s all healed up 💜
