Welcome in, Sandy! Sandy is a 4 month old pup (DOB 4/29/2024) who comes to us as an owner surrender after her owner decided that a baby pup was “too much” for her. Sandy was not purchased from a reputable breeder and has not seen a vet since being purchased and so off she went to our vet for her full intake vetting. We will share her full medical pupdate soon! Sweet Sandy is being fostered in Ludowici, Georgia 💜 (Sandy is brand new and is not available for adoption at this time so please do not contact us with your interest, rather keep watch for more updates to come.)
UPDATE SEPTEMER 10 2024: We recently welcomed in and introduced you to sweet little 4 month old Sandy in Ludowici, Georgia who came to us as an owner surrender after the owner decided that a baby pup was “too much” for her. Sandy was not purchased from a reputable breeder and had not seen a vet so off she went to our partnering vet for a thorough physical exam and labwork. Sandy weighs 6 pounds and was found to be congenitally sound at this time with clear eyes, knees, hips, and heart. Her bloodwork was normal (for a puppy), but her fecal test was positive for giardia which is a parasite 🦠 that is rampant in filthy, bad breeding operations. Sandy is receiving treatment for the giardia and will return to the vet after completing treatment for a fecal recheck and for her puppy vaccine 💉 Sandy is a typical puppy living her best puppy life in her foster home - enjoying toys, snuggles, and playing with her cavalier foster siblings 🐾💕
