JANUARY 26, 2025: We recently introduced you to handsome 2 year old Abbott (DOB 9/18/2022) who came into our care after his owner became ill and was no longer able to meet his needs. Abbott has made himself comfortable in his foster home in Acworth, Georgia and has now undergone his intake vetting.Abbott is a bigger boy at 27 pounds which we feel is close to his ideal weight. He underwent a thorough physical exam and checked out perfectly. His eyes, knees, hips, and heart were found to be clear and congenitally sound at this time and his skin, coat, and ears are clean and clear. Additionally, all of his labwork including his fecal test, heartworm test, urinalysis, and bloodwork was normal and negative. Abbott is already neutered and microchipped, and was due for his rabies vaccine which he received. Abbott is a healthy and handsome young boy! We are taking time to learn all about him, his personality, needs, likes, and preferences in foster care so that we know exactly what we will be seeking in his furever home and family.
