Welcome in baby Bruno! Bruno is just a 10 week old pup who found himself on Craigslist - a scary place for a baby. A Good Samaritan saw the listing and was concerned for his safety. She was able to secure him and then contacted us to transfer him into our care. Bruno is being fostered in Marietta, Georgia 🏡 and we will have a medical pupdate to share soon 💜
UPDATE OCTOBER 15, 2024: Baby Bruno is exhausted after his big day of vetting 💤 You may remember that 11 week old Bruno (DOB 7/28/2024) recently came into our care after a good samaritan rescued him off Craigslist and transferred him into our care.Bruno weighed in at 4.62 pounds and underwent a thorough physical exam, a fecal test, and received his microchip. All signs point to Bruno coming from a bad breeding situation as his exam revealed ear mites and yeast, and his fecal sample was positive for giardia, a parasite that runs rampant in filthy puppy mills. He is now undergoing treatment for the ear mites, yeast overgrowth, and giardia, and will return to the vet in 2 weeks for a recheck and his next puppy vaccines. His eyes, knees, hips, and heart were found to be clear and congenitally sound at this time. Bruno is being fostered in Marietta, Georgia where he is living his best puppy life - playing, eating, snuggling, and sleeping on repeat 💜

While his foster mom reports that his ears are much more comfortable since eradicating those awful ear mites he arrived with 🪳, we are still working to clear the yeast and bacteria in his ears. He will return to the vet next week for an ear recheck ✔️
