Welcome in, Kobe! 💜
Kobe is a darling 1 year, 9 month old boy (DOB 10/16/2024) who comes to us as an owner surrender through no fault of his own. His family felt they could no longer meet his needs nor give him the life he deserved.
Kobe arrives to us already up to date on his vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. Today he underwent his intake vetting where he received a thorough physical examination and comprehensive lab work. As always, we’ll share a full medical update once all of his results are back.
So far, Kobe has already stolen many hearts 💕 He’s proving to be a sweet, snuggly, and spirited little guy, and we can’t wait to get to know him even better in foster care. Kobe is being fostered in Birmingham, Alabama.

UPDATE JULY 27, 2026: We recently introduced you to precious Kobe, the newest Cavalier in our care. He came to us as an owner surrender after his family felt they could no longer meet his needs.
Kobe is a young boy at just 1 year, 9 months old (DOB 10/16/2024). He arrived already up to date on his vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. He has now completed his full intake vetting which included a thorough physical examination and comprehensive lab work.
We are happy to share that Kobe received a clean bill of health! He is congenitally sound at this time, with clear eyes, healthy knees, hips, and heart. His skin, coat, ears, and teeth are all in excellent condition, and additionally, all of his labwork results including his fecal exam, heartworm and tick borne illness test, and bloodwork was all normal and negative. At this time, we are not anticipating that Kobe will require any additional medical care while in rescue.
Sweet Kobe is settling into his foster home in Birmingham, Alabama, where we will get to know all about him, ensure that we make a perfect furever family match 💜

Kobe is a 1 year old Cavalier who recently came into rescue as an owner surrender when his family was no longer able to continue his care. His full intake vetting revealed that he’s a healthy, young boy.

This sweet, spirited boy is now all settled into his foster home in Birmingham, Alabama, and having the best time - whether he’s outside exploring, playing, socializing, or helping his foster mom at work 💜 And if you’re local, you may even spot him prancing around Pepper Place📍
