Welcome in, precious Riley 💙
Riley is one of the nine Cavaliers we were able to rescue off the auction block—pulling him out of the puppy mill industry and intercepting plans for him to be sold into a life as breeding stock. Instead, his future will be that of a beloved, cherished companion 🐾

This adorable Blenheim boy is 5 months old (DOB 11/22/25) and weighs 14 pounds. He has completed his full intake vetting and, at this time, is congenitally sound with clear eyes, knees, hips, and heart. Like most mill dogs, Riley didn’t come to us without needs, even at his young age. We are currently treating him for ear infections and intestinal worms— commonly found in unsanitary environments like puppy mills. Additionally, he has a significant overbite that will be monitored as his remaining adult teeth come in. Due to this misalignment, his lower canines could potentially cause issues by contacting and injuring the roof of his mouth. If that occurs, those teeth will likely need to be extracted.

Sweet Riley is being fostered in Hoover, Alabama, where we are watching him come more and more out of his shell by the minute. There is so much to investigate and explore in a life outside the mill, and Riley gets to live the puppyhood he was always meant to have 💜
