Welcome in, adorable Troy 💙
Troy is one of the nine Cavaliers we were able to rescue off the auction block, pulling him out of the puppy mill industry and intercepting the plans for him to be sold into a life used as breeding stock. Instead, his future will be that of a beloved, cherished companion 🐾
This darling tricolor boy is just 3 months old (DOB 1/16/26) and weighs 6.2 pounds. He has completed his full intake vetting and, at this time, is congenitally sound with clear eyes, knees, hips, and heart. We are currently treating him for giardia — a nasty little parasite commonly found in unsanitary environments like puppy mills.
Troy is being fostered in Deatsville, Alabama, where he’s busy exploring this brand new world around him and having an absolute ball with toys. Now, sweet Troy gets to do what every puppy should — live a carefree puppyhood filled with love, safety, fun, and family 💙

Instead, he’s been given the opportunity for the future every dog deserves — one as a beloved and cherished companion 🐾
This darling tricolor boy is now 4 months old and unfortunately is one of two remaining auction dogs still battling giardia - an intestinal parasite that runs rampant in filthy puppy mill environments and can sometimes be stubborn to completely eliminate. 
We do not place dogs for adoption until they are medically cleared, so Troy is currently undergoing another round of treatment and will have a repeat fecal test next week. In the meantime, his foster family is helping him make the most of his new found life and puppyhood - soaking up snuggles from his human foster sibling 💕, having a blast with his toys 🧸 , and enjoying adventures alongside his Cavalier foster siblings 🐶.
Troy is being fostered in Deatsville, Alabama, and we are hopeful his next update will be the one we've all been waiting for - parasite free, medically cleared, and ready for his next step 💜

UPDATE AUGUST 24, 2026:TLike so many puppy mill pups, baby Troy arrived into rescue battling an upper respiratory infection and suffering with giardia which has taken quite some time to clear…
But today, we have the update we’ve been waiting for - Troy is now medically cleared! 🙌🏼 His lungs are clear, his fecal test is negative, and at now 7 months old, Troy is a healthy, growing, thriving puppy who can finally put all of that behind him 💕
We’ll be working with Troy’s foster family in Deatsville, Alabama to get this perfect pup listed for adoption soon 💜
